Caffeine is good for the liver too

December 6th, 2005 by Mark

We’ve known for a long time how caffeine is good for the memory. More recently, we’ve heard how caffeine can make new brain cells grow. Well today, there’s a report in the Washington Post stating that caffeine reduces the chances of liver damage in people who are overweight, have too much iron in their blood, or drink too much alcohol. This is fantastic news. Now, Nestlé’s newly patented coffee-beer makes more sense than ever before. Beer as we all know, is good for the heart. Now we can get two kinds of buzzes at once, while simultaneously helping out our hearts, brains, and livers. What a glorious day for humanity!
