Technical Difficulties

I apologize to everyone for the Chinese being messed up on my site again. Hostgator just moved me to another server so that I won’t be blocked anymore. Just as when I tried out their back-up features earlier, their database settings have corrupted all the Chinese on my blog. Why their default database settings are still for latin1_swedish_ci, I have no idea, but I’ve already emailed them about it and hopefully it will be fixed soon. However, last time I ended up having to manual re-enter all of the non-English characters again myself. Please be patient. On the good side, maybe I’m not blocked in China anymore.

Update: Check out these two pages to see what I’m talking about. Hostgator originally kept saying that my current set-up on gator50 is an “exact copy” of what was on gator 48. Eventually, I had to send screen shots of garbled Chinese on my current site along with shots of ungarbled Chinese on the site from which they moved me. Then, they escalated my ticket. Unfortnately nobody was able to figure out why their tools corrupted my site. I ended up having to re-input all the Chinese manually again. Have any of you seen a cpanel back-up corrupt character sets?

In anycase, I think I’m unblocked in China. Can anybody verify that for me?
