The morning I work up early enough to take a few bags out it was raining too much for me to bother. If it came past in the evening some days I'd actually get my trash out. During my first few days since moving out into my own place, I think I was known throughout the neighborhood as "that foreigner who chases the trucks." Its harder here to tell where the sound is coming from as the trucks pass the main intersection and go into many different directions. My first time depositing the trash at the truck down my neighborhood involved me running about 30 yards to catch it, the whole time, the guy riding on the back of the truck was watching me. After a few brief conversations with neighbors I finally know when to step outside. I'm usually a little early, but so are the neighbors, we usually talk about the weather as we wait for the sounds of the garbage truck.
