Google Invites Ron Paul to Speak
July 15th, 2007 by MarkRon Paul’s speech was so popular that Google had to use an overflow room. What a crowd!
Google executive Elliot Schrage: “Usually I end up asking questions for about 20 minutes, half an hour, and then we open this up for questions from our audience here. I’m impressed to say we’ve never gotten so many questions on our system for a presidential candidate who has visited Google, so I’m going to devote much more time today to asking some of the questions we’ve gotten…”
Ron Paul also gave a very quick Q&A for YouTube’s “You Choose 2008″. This video includes clearer explanations of his views on the environment and abortion.
The longer Google question and answer session included references to Ron Paul’s earlier appearances on Comedy Central.
Update: I just realized that a Google search for “Most honest politician” returns Ron Paul as the top result. Coincidence!!?
Update: Here’s a Googler’s account of the the event from the inside.
