I have just  started Blue Mars, but I've been told by others that the Mars trilogy isn't as interesting towards the end as the beginning.

I definitely enjoyed Peter F. Hamilton's series of The Commonwealth Saga.(Pandora's Star and Judas Unchained.)</description>
