Most of these articles came from the cache of my iDrone RSS feed from Google Reader.
I was trying to publish your article on PHP templates, but Blogger kept interpreting the html tags instead of displaying them ‘as-is’. I’m hoping to get that one up too. For the Ruby Accumulator one, I had to go directly into ‘html edit’ mode to manually add the ” tags so that the indentation was intact (which is vital when displaying Python code).
Since John sent us the WordPress database for iDrone, it should be fairly straightforward to publish a few of the articles (especially on a WordPress installation). Since I’ve pretty much switched to blogger for my primary blogging, there’s a little trickiness though, and it is probably easier to just continue using the Google Reader cache. I understand that Ryan has cross-published most of his articles on his blog.
The thing that gets me is that idrone.net now consists of advertising disguised as a legitimate blog. The text is more intelligent than a randomly-generated words, but clearly lacks the depth of even the most banal blogs. I suspect that this is the output of those websites that pays you to write something — the something happens to be short paragraphs that pump a particular website.
Ahh… Intelligent Drone — the irony…
