Taipei Blogger Meetup
October 14th, 2008 by MarkByron of texturadesign emailed me this weekend about a group of US tech bloggers hosting a meetup in Taipei.

We’re bloggers based in the US coming to Taiwan to cover the Intel Developer Forum and would like to meetup with Taipei bloggers on Sunday 10/19 for drinks and apps (on us).
They’ll be at in House (台北市松仁路90號), and Byron says they have “goodies” to give away, too!

That was the title of the email Bryon sent me. I believe his meaning was “Blogger Meetup in Taipei”. That whole Intel dev forum group is US-based AFIK and I’m sure they’d love to meet whoever can make it to Taipei that day.

Also, we called it a “Blogger Meetup” for simplicity, but if you’re active in social media–Flickr, YouTube, Twitter, etc.–you’re welcome, too.

If I read your comment right, you’re concerned that we’re expecting something from the Taipei bloggers? I understand your concern and that’s not what we’re doing. We’re just bringing some goodies to give away to make it a fun party (socks, Crumpler bags, etc). Our only expectation is to hang out, have a good time, and talk blogging and social media.
