I've only flown through, so I don't know the city. When I went to Vancouver last September, the first think I thought was that it looked a lot like Hong Kong. Apparently, there's a fair bit of Asian influence there. I get the pleasure of dealing with TSA about once a month on average. They really don't seem any different than the ones before. Initially when I saw it I recollected my old English tutorial saying that you can only "ride" a horse or a bicycle. But still... the phrase "I rode a bus" sounds kind of weird. It gives an impression that "I was driving a bus myself". Funny. (I am not picking, I am just avid learner of English language:-) Now I realized that there is such expression.
