There was an odd hardware failure on the server that my blog and the Taiwan Blog Feed were both hosted on. Fortunately, the databases weren’t affected and Hostgator managed to restore pretty much everything. Some of the recent changes I made in the TBF have disappeared, but that’s about it.

I lost a bunch of data and had to rebuild my site, again. Everything’s back now, thanks to the goodness of Google’s cache of my site. Please mail me if you see anything broken or missing. Here’s what happened:

It was a close call. I nearly lost all of my blogging from my Colorado trip. Hostgator had another “technical issue”. This one involved wiping out everything on the server that hosts me, and then restoring a back up from January 20th. In other words, it wiped out my whole trip. [...]
