The remarkable thing about this clip isn’t that some guy on TV was so mind-bogglingly ignorant. It’s the advice given by the audience.
if it weren’t for trying to pick up some french watching that, i would have been bored to tears. it’s better not to focus on dumb people no matter where they pop up anyway as the practice of ridicule is ultimately a downer. better to be inspired by people smarter than you.
I dunno, v. For me it was eye-opening. Before I saw the video, I would have had problems believing there was a large studio audience anywhere in Europe that was mistaken about whether if it’s the sun or the moon that orbits the earth.
